The WIT Indian ‘Wicket Scholarship’2012/2013

Post Graduate Student Scholarship:

Eligibility

  • First Division in your Bachelor Degree from India
  • Higher Diploma of postgraduate / Masters Degree enrolment at WIT in Ireland
  • Minimum IELTS score of  6.5 or equivalent with a minimum of 5.5 in reading and writing

The Wicket Student Scholarship is available only to Indian students who are beginning an undergraduate or postgraduate programme at WIT for the first time.

10 to 15 awards will be made for the upcoming academic year commencing September 2012, depending on the volume of application and profile of the candidates applying.

Postgraduate Scholarships are available on all one year taught (Full-time) Master programmes

  • Successful candidate will be entitled to EU fees instead of the international fee rate

Undergraduate Scholarship are available to any 3 or 4 years degree programme. Scholarship available for advanced entry into all years of Bachelor programmes.  Save approximately €2,250 per year

  • Successful candidates will be entitled to a 25% discount off fee for each year of study

 Higher Diploma Scholarships are available for all one year Full-Time programmes.

  • Successful candidates will be entitled to a 25% discount off the international fee rate.

I have completed my 10+2 in 2010 in maths stream and after that i joined b.tech but few months before i just left my studies due to some family reason.Now i am preparing for IELTS examination and i want to study abroad to complete my education with the help of scholarships either UK,US or CANADA.Is it possible or not please help me?

  2. caould i change my stream from arts to science in pg if i have done graduation in arts BA

    • yes you can but then admission would be diffccult because you will not meet the entry criteria.

    • You can change provided if you get the addmission.

    • Course should be selected in relevance to your Academic background.It is not advisable to change the stream.

  3. i have doine 12th in science and graduation in arts with 64% maks can i got scholarship in ireland or anywhere in world i also get 5.8 over all band point in ielts

    • Generally there are very less Scholarships at Bachelor’s Level and most of them are on the basis of Merit.
      Scholarship for you would be little difficult.

    and my brother is holding permanent residence in Australia and doing his own business in print field since 3years . And my brother history is very good in Australia can i meat the GTE requirement if so i will apply for student visa

    • Select your choice of country and University. Decide on the course option, make an application. Wait for Offer Letter and then apply for Visa in Embassy.
      You have asked a very wide question. If I could get your academic percentages you choice of course then I would be in a better postition to suggest.

  8. I have 7.51 GPA in UG from an Indian university (West Bengal University of Technology). Does dat qualify as first class degree under Irish system? I have 100 in TOEFL. What are chances of getting into masters in Ireland (University of Limerick or Queen’s University Belfast)?

  9. I got admission in Ireland for MBA in Griffith college, limerick campus. This MBA program is validated by Heriott watt university (UK). Is this a good option? Is Heriott watt university is a globally recognized university? Currently i am final year B.com student.so far i got approximately 80 percent of marks. Is there any scholarship exams or other scholarships to study abroad? Looking forward to your reply.

    • I need to know your complete academic background because every college has acedemic and IELTS requirement.

  12. Hi i hav 3 year of study gap 12th in 2007 with 60% and diploma in computer hardware and networking in 2009 after that 2 year job as a computer oprator till 2011 and hav 5.5 in ielts so am i eligible for australia

  14. I want to apply for ireland but my ielts band is very less 4.5 its immpossible there plzzzzz do something for me

    • Why dont you appear for your IELTS again? 4.5 is very less. If you want sure shot Visa then appear for IELTS again.
